Position: Human Resources Generalist

Location: Hamden, CT

Amphenol Spectra-Strip is a leader in hyper scale data center bulk wire solutions. We develop and manufacture gigabit copper cable solutions for high performance and cloud compute applications.

We are currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our Spectra-Strip team based in Hamden, CT. This on-site role will partner with our Business Unit leadership to drive people strategies that support business objectives in the United States while aligning with global HR direction. This role provides both strategic and hands-on HR support across all functional areas including employee relations, talent development, immigration, performance management, and compliance.

Responsibilities

- Partner with leadership team to align HR strategies with business priorities

- Lead HR support for US operations, including employee relations, engagement, immigration, performance management, compensation, and retention

- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee concerns, providing guidance on policies and workplace matters

- Ensure compliance with US employment laws and company policies

- Support workforce planning, organizational design, and talent management initiatives

- Drive performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and development planning; coach managers on employee performance and growth

- Identify training needs and coordinate learning and development programs to enhance employee capability

- Partner with global HR teams across China, Vietnam, and Mexico to ensure consistency of programs while adapting solutions to meet business needs

- Support compensation and benefits programs, including benchmarking and annual merit processes

- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

- 5+ years of prior HR experience, generalist experience preferred

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

- SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, or HRCI certification preferred

- Knowledge of labor law and HR best practices

- Strong problem solving, customer service, communication and organization skills

- Proficiency using HRIS platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to learn new computer applications

- Demonstrated ability to professionally communicate with all levels of the organization
