Project Overview
We are working with a leading global consulting firm to support their global manufacturing client with a restructuring programme focused on cost optimisation and resetting of their manufacturing footprint in Asia (4 sites across Malaysia & China).
The strategy and design phase is now complete and the implementation team is now being mobilised. The consulting team is split across SE Asia and the UK and are now seeking 1-2 senior practitioners who can join them on the ground in Malaysis to support the successful drlivery and governance of the programme.
This role is to be based in Cyberjaya, Selangor.
This is a minimum 10 week engagement, but more likely 22-24 weeks.
Role brief:
- Senior level stakeholder management
- Driving programme delivery and execution, ensuring workstreams performance
- Operate as commander and orchestrator
- Ensure junior/tactical execution teams operate outside of silos and guide delivery teams
- Ensure effective governance
- Gravitas, credibility and communication style needed to build confidence and trust from c-suite level client stakeholders
Key requirements:
- 15+ years in manufacturing
- Experience in cost optimisation and site restructuring
- Industrial goods, medical device, surgical device sector/domain expertise a bonus
