SENIOR AI/ML DEVELOPER
Location: Vienna, on-site
Salary: competitive
Type of employment: contracting, full time
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize AI/ML solutions for computer vision and image processing applications.
- Build and maintain deep learning models for object detection, image segmentation, and related use cases.
- Develop scalable data processing pipelines and Python-based software components following engineering best practices.
- Create and integrate RESTful services to support enterprise-level AI solutions.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver, deploy, and continuously improve AI/ML applications.
Requirements:
- University degree in Software engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in developing Deep Learning Solutions for processing image data (convolutional networks), Computer vision
- Expert knowledge of models for real-time object detection and image segmentation (e.g., YOLO, SAM)
- 5+ years of experience in major AI software frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow and model formats like ONNX
- Strong experience in design and implementation of data processing pipelines
- Expert knowledge developing complex software packages using Python applying software engineering principles
- Familiarity with building REST backends to integrate into enterprise solution
- Experience with ClearML or similar platforms for streamlining AI development and deployment
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems
- Git source control experience
- Hands-on mentality and fast-prototyping skills to evaluate new technologies and model approaches
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; candidate needs to communicate with users, business analysts, subject-matter experts, IT security experts and inspectors
- Fluency in written and spoken English
