Python Developer( 8+ years)
Mississauga, Canada -Hybrid( 2-3 days in a week onsite)

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Python.
- Build REST APIs and integrate applications with internal systems and external services.
- Develop data processing pipelines using Pandas, NumPy, and SQL.
- Write and optimize database queries for large financial datasets.
- Implement data validation, reconciliation, exception handling, and audit logging.
- Improve application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Write automated unit and integration tests using Pytest or unittest.
- Participate in code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and technical design discussions.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Follow enterprise security, change management, and software development standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python, object-oriented programming, and data structures.
- Experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and application integration.
- Familiarity with Linux, shell scripting, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience writing automated tests and debugging distributed applications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
