The EU Advertising Sales Finance team sits at the centre of this growth, providing analytical and financial leadership for initiatives that help European advertisers unlock the full potential of Amazon DSP across the Open Internet. We partner closely with Sales, Go-To-Market, Ad Tech, and Supply teams to translate data into actionable insights and support senior leadership decision-making.
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to partner with senior leaders across the Advertising Sales organisation. The successful candidate will combine strong analytical capabilities with business acumen, sound judgement, and excellent communication skills. They will be comfortable operating in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment, working cross-functionally, and building scalable solutions to complex business problems.
Key job responsibilities
The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for controllership, financial analysis, planning, forecasting, and reporting for the EU Advertising Sales organisation.
Key Job Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Partner with Advertising Sales teams and the wider business to provide financial insight, challenge assumptions, and support informed business decision-making.
- Develop forward-looking analyses and initiatives that identify growth opportunities, improve business performance, and support the continued scaling of the organisation.
- Act as a trusted finance partner by highlighting key risks, opportunities, and blockers that may impact quarterly and annual business goals.
- Evaluate revenue optimisation opportunities and support strategic programmes aimed at improving productivity, operational efficiency, and business performance.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to assess growth opportunities across Amazon DSP and the Open Internet, translating commercial initiatives into financial insights and recommendations.
- Drive improvements in financial mechanisms, processes, reporting, and analytical tools to support a growing and evolving business.
- Co-author high-visibility business reviews and strategic reporting for senior management, clearly communicating financial performance, key drivers, risks, and opportunities.
- Use data and systems such as Salesforce, SQL, and Tableau to identify trends, generate actionable insights, and support management decision-making.
- Maintain strong financial controllership while continuously identifying opportunities to simplify, automate, and improve existing processes.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English
- Experience using financial models, KPIs, and data analysis to support business decisions
- Experience in identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA, or CPA
- Experience developing financial models in Excel with advanced functions (pivot tables, macros, VBA, Power Query)
- Experience with data analytics platforms (Power BI, Python, SQL, Tableau)
