Role Summary :- Technical lead and primary customer facing interface responsible for all respective discussion, workshops, communication to stake holders and coordination the offshore team.
Key Responsibilities :-
oAct as the primary technical interface between Customer stakeholders and the offshore engineering team.
oPlan and conduct workshops with Product, Systems, Reliability, Test, Quality, Laboratory, Manufacturing, Service, IT, and Procurement stakeholders as applicable.
oCollect and clarify product architecture, test objectives, operating profiles, interfaces, available assets, constraints, standards, documentation, and approval expectations.
oMaintain the requirements baseline, information-request list, assumptions, risks, dependencies, decisions, and open actions.
oLead definition of the high-level test fixture and test automation solution, including DUT, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, firmware, software, data, safety, and infrastructure interfaces.
oBreak down technical questions and assign focused tasks to offshore Mechanical, Electrical, Firmware/Automation, and Reliability SMEs.
oConduct regular technical reviews with the offshore team, resolve inconsistencies, and consolidate inputs into one coherent solution.
oEvaluate reuse, modification, and new-development options and facilitate Customer decisions.
oLead preparation of the WBS, resource plan, schedule basis, ROM effort/cost estimate, risks, assumptions, and implementation roadmap.
oPresent recommendations, obtain feedback, disposition comments, and drive closure of agreed scoping deliverables.
Required Skills and Experience
o12+ year’s experience
oReliability engineering experience
oMedical device or regulated product development preferred
oTest systems and Test automation architecture experience
oCustomer-facing experience
oUnderstanding of mechanical fixtures, electrical instrumentation, DAQ, automation, and embedded interfaces
oRequirements management, interface definition, trade-off analysis, risk management, and technical documentation
