Prime Video Advertising is looking for an experienced Strategy and Operations Manager to lead strategic workstreams for Prime Video Advertising in the UK/EU. This role will help drive key business metrics to ensure the sustained growth of the advertising business in Prime Video. This role sits within the Prime Video Advertising Europe team and will work closely with team members who are responsible for growing the advertising business across Prime Video SVOD, AVOD, FAST and Display supply sources.
This role will also work closely with: 1. the Amazon Advertising organization (advertising go to market, sales, product and finance teams) to drive monetisation workstreams across SVOD, AVOD, FAST and Display supply sources 2. Prime Video service leaders to optimize the value of its supply and supporting the customer ad experience 3. Ad Product, Tech and CX teams to define business requirements on new products and bring new formats and innovations to market
Key job responsibilities
- Surface locally relevant, actionable insights (e.g. performance benchmarks, VOC) using 1P and 3P data to drive PVA growth and optimise ad experience.
- Identify and lead workstreams to expand monetisable supply across SVOD, FAST, Channels, and Sport — addressing content coverage, ads policy, legal requirements, and supply addressability. Independently deliver complex projects and programmes, escalating issues proactively and seeking direction when needed.
- Structure and lead programme reviews and performance deep dives with senior leadership. Author strategy documents (e.g. PRFAQs, business cases) and own analysis for senior leadership decision-making.
- Author regional performance narratives and executive summaries for global/regional cross-business reviews, translating detailed insights into actionable recommendations.
- Support Go-To-Market planning and execution for future PVA launches across Europe/EMEA — including opportunity sizing, local regulatory insights, benchmarking, and integration of new locales into existing structures.
- Provide structured inputs to global product and tech teams on regional requirements, including experimentation roadmap support.
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, product, finance, operations, and legal to define and execute initiatives that drive business growth.
- Operate both strategically and tactically, making effective trade-offs between short- and long-term business needs.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience analyzing data to make business decisions
- Experience working effectively across cross-functional teams and partnering well with people at all levels within an organization
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated professional experience in strategy, operations, or business management within a media or advertising environment.
- Demonstrated ability to structure ambiguous problems, develop frameworks, and drive data-informed decision-making at scale.
