Human Resources Business Partner (Bi-lingual English/Spanish)
Compensation: $80–90K
Location: Yulee, FL area
Responsibilities:
- Act as strategic advisor and hands-on partner to branch leaders on recruiting methods, optimizing postings on LinkedIn, Indeed, and other channels to attract strong candidates and filter out mismatches.
- Manage the staffing partnership day to day, including coordinating placements and tracking program performance.
- Manage aspects of the H2B program including headcount planning, travel and housing oversight, and onboarding integration in conjunction with the HR and field teams.
- Manage and build a talent pipeline strategy ahead of need — career fairs, high school and vocational partnerships, and other sourcing channels.
- Develop and maintain job descriptions and postings that reflect the real requirements of each role, so job ads consistently attract the right candidates.
- Partner with branch leaders on hiring plans tied to growth targets, providing direct sourcing and interviewing support at the branch level for select roles.
- Own and continuously improve the new-hire onboarding experience across branches, including orientation programs, to deliver a consistent experience regardless of employee on-site location.
- Own the off-boarding process, including exit interviews, and track turnover trends across branches to flag patterns and surface them to the VP of HR.
- Serve as the front-line resource for employee relations matters as they arise, escalating complex or high-risk situations to the VP of HR.
- Coach managers on day-to-day people issues, performance conversations, and documentation.
- Track handbook review/updates needed for the annual policy updates.
- Stay current on employment law differences across our five-state, and growing, footprint as they relate to day-to-day HR practices, flagging anything that needs HR Manager or VP of HR attention.
- Manage the execution and tracking of the company-wide training calendar, including OSHA, anti-harassment, compliance, and manager coaching training.
- Support OSHA and safety training programs, partnering with the HR Operations & Benefits Manager on compliance record keeping.
- Configure the annual performance review process within BambooHR and manage communications, deadlines, and reminders.
- Support the administration of the monthly pay-for-performance variable pay program — collating and verifying data to ensure accurate payout amounts, identifying ways to streamline and improve the process, and supporting related communications.
- Compile and report on employee engagement/NPS survey results, partnering with the VP of HR on interpreting findings and shaping action plans.
- Support compensation benchmarking and market pricing analysis, partnering with the VP of HR, with room to grow and maintain this work over time.
- Maintain and report on core HR metrics — turnover, time-to-fill, headcount by branch, cost-per-hire — on a regular cadence, partnering with the VP of HR to identify trends and areas for action.
- Take ownership of accurate, timely data entry and monitoring into BambooHR for all HRBP-owned transactions (new hires, status changes, driver status, offboarding), supporting the HR Manager's broader data integrity efforts.
- Identify process gaps or inefficiencies and develop and communicate improvements effectively across our multi-site business.
- Partner with the VP of HR on change management for organizational shifts — including M&A integration, restructures, and other transitions — supporting communication, timelines, and manager readiness.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of progressive HR business partnership experience, ideally across a multi-site or multi-state organization.
- Demonstrated success optimizing and enabling the talent strategy and full-cycle recruiting.
- Comfortable operating in a lean, fast-moving HR team where the job is to build, not just maintain.
- BambooHR or comparable HRIS experience strongly preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required.
- Willingness to travel across a five-state Southeast footprint as needed.
- Experience with compensation benchmarking or market pricing analysis is a plus.
