Title: UX Designer – Retail App

Pay rate: $55/hr on w2

Skills: Platforms: iOS, Android, Web

About The Role

We are looking for a strong, passionate UX Designer to lead a fresh redesign of the Client Retail App — a platform used by millions of members to manage prescriptions, earn ExtraCare rewards, and schedule health services. This is a high-visibility opportunity to reimagine core member experiences across iOS, Android, and Web, working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment alongside engineering and cross-functional stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can independently own the end-to-end UX design process — from ideation through high-fidelity Figma handoff — while driving alignment between design, business stakeholders, and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the redesign of the Client Retail App experience across iOS, Android, and Web platforms.

- Own and drive UX design requirements independently, translating business and user needs into intuitive design solutions.

- Ideate creative, user-centered experiences for core app journeys: prescription management, ExtraCare rewards, and health service scheduling.

- Rapidly create and iterate on high-fidelity Figma designs ready for engineering handoff in a fast-paced environment.

- Drive conversations and align priorities between stakeholders, product teams, and engineering.

- Apply strong UX processes — research synthesis, wireframing, prototyping, usability validation, and design QA.

- Present design concepts and rationale clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Collaborate closely with engineering to ensure design feasibility and pixel-accurate implementation.

Required Qualifications

- 7–10 years of professional UX design experience, ideally on consumer-facing retail, healthcare, or loyalty/rewards applications.

- Proven ability to independently own and drive UX design work with minimal oversight.

- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX design process and shipped product work (required for consideration).

- Expert-level proficiency in Figma and related design/prototyping tools.

- Solid grounding in UX processes: user research, information architecture, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.

- Experience designing for multi-platform ecosystems — iOS, Android, and Web.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to facilitate discussions between stakeholders and engineering teams.

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with shifting priorities.

- Passion for creating thoughtful, creative, and user-centered digital experiences.

Nice to Have

- Experience in retail, pharmacy, or healthcare technology domains.

- Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.

- Experience working within design systems at scale.
