Role: Network Engineer (WiFi/Wired)

Location: San Francisco, CA Alternate Locations: Austin, TX| New York, NY| Washington, DC| 5 Days Onsite

Duration: 12 Months

Position Summary

Design, deploy, stabilize, and support reliable wired and wireless infrastructure for current and new offices in a rapidly scaling organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design wired and wireless networks for new and existing office locations.

• Conduct wireless surveys, capacity planning, and coverage analysis.

• Configure switches, access points, firewalls, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, and VPN services.

• Troubleshoot connectivity, performance, roaming, segmentation, and reliability issues.

• Create repeatable network standards for office deployments.

• Coordinate with facilities, vendors, security, and internal IT teams.

• Implement monitoring, alerting, configuration backup, diagrams, and operational runbooks.

Required Qualifications

• Strong enterprise wired and wireless networking experience.

• Experience designing and delivering multi-office network environments.

• Hands-on knowledge of routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewalls.

• Experience with wireless surveys and interference troubleshooting.

• Ability to lead an office-network deployment from design through handoff.

• Strong documentation, vendor-management, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting hyper-growth technology companies.

• Cloud-managed enterprise networking platforms.

• Network automation using Python, APIs, Terraform, or Ansible.

• NAC, identity-aware networking, or zero-trust access.

• Relevant professional networking certifications.
