What You'll Do

Shipping and Warehouse Coordinator - day rate - approx. 4-to-6 months

The Material Handling focus specializes in the physical and administrative tasks involved in receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Ensures materials are received from proper vendors, delivered to inventory, and finished goods are packaged according to specification and shipped in a timely manner. Material handlers put products in the places they need to be. In warehouses and production facilities, material handlers find products on shelves, wrap or package them appropriately, and place them on delivery truck or they may also take products off of trucks and put them on shelves.

Internal and external customer facing.

Working with management and logistics teams within the EMEA region.

The day-to-day

- Mon to Fri 9 - 5pm

- Manage activities relating to the receiving, storing, and/or shipping of materials or finished goods: ensures materials are received from proper vendors, that they are delivered to inventory, and that finished goods are packaged according to specification and shipped in a timely manner.

- Reviews receipt of all materials to ensure purchase orders are open and the quality of materials received is correct.

- Ensures the security and accountability of materials and goods with inventory control.

- Ensures materials are available to meet production schedules and/or products are shipped as per marketing schedules.

- Establishes and modifies operational methods and procedures.

- Maintains documentation to reflect the effectiveness and efficiency of department activities.

- Job Complexity: Follows methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for projects, programs and people. Takes responsibility for the performance and outcomes of the business area, operates with a high degree of autonomy, and contributes to the overall success of the area.

- Communication: Communicates departmental vision and goals effectively to the team. Represents the department with authority and clarity.

- Scope: Receives operational objectives and determines how to utilize resources to achieve. Makes technical or operational decisions that affect immediate areas of operations.

What You'll Need

- UK Passport or Citizenship

- Multiple years of experience in a warehousing, logistics & distribution, Supply Chain Management, or related (i.e. Demand Planning, Supply

- Fluent in English (any other language an asset)

- Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, and research skills.

- Knowledge of import/export regulations and VAT.

- Proficiency in MS Office Suite

- Strong organization, oral and written communication skills a must

- Excellent follow up and customer service skills

- Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies

- Ability to work with little or no direction, can work independently and collaboratively as a team member to meet goals while maintaining an organized and systematic approach to task completion

- 100% on site in Brookman's Park – no WFH

What Will Help You On The Job

- Experience with establishing a new warehouse

- SAP or a comparable ERP inventory management tool, Excel, JIRA, Service Now and Transportation Management systems knowledge preferred

- Familiarity or experience using AI (Claude/Copilot/Kore)

- Driving license - (public transport access not close to working location)
