Your New Role
The Nordics Operations team plays a key role within the Nordic WBD business, supporting the execution of local strategy, business modelling, and critical projects while providing support to the Nordic GM, GVP Finance & Operations, and wider leadership team.
This role will help navigate a complex and evolving media landscape, enabling growth across the Nordic business and supporting key opportunities and challenges. Working as a partner to the Nordic leadership team, you will frame business questions, lead analysis, and deliver clear recommendations through compelling presentations that drive decision-making.
Reporting directly to the Nordic Operations Director, you will work closely with senior stakeholders across the Nordic business and be part of a combined Finance, Research & Insights and Operations team that supports operational and strategic decisions.
Your Role Accountabilities

Scope, plan, and coordinate cross-functional execution of strategic priorities and projects specific to the Nordic markets, enabling successful execution of local strategy.

Provide analysis across key project workstreams including due diligence, strategic analysis and financial analysis.

Support Corporate Strategy teams on EMEA-wide initiatives and M&A activity as required.

Own the storyline for business recommendations, structure the argument, build presentations and present recommendations to senior leaders in a way that drives decisions.

Work with the line manager, GVP Finance and Nordic GM to set key objectives and priorities and prepare briefing materials including competitor overviews, market intelligence and business summaries.

Coordinate end-to-end project delivery across Nordic functions and EMEA/global teams, ensuring milestones and deadlines are achieved while identifying opportunities, risks and improvement areas.

Build executive-ready business performance reporting and support Nordic Leadership Team meetings through agenda planning, presentation coordination, note taking and action tracking.
Qualifications & Experience
-
Background in management consulting or an in-house strategy team, including building and presenting business plans and recommendations to senior stakeholders. Presentation development and storytelling are central to this role.

Demonstrable experience working in complex environments across multiple territories, with project and stakeholder management experience across multiple functions.

Understanding of financial fundamentals and the ability to build business cases including structured P&Ls, key assumptions and drivers, NPV analysis and variance explanations.

Experience building, analysing, interpreting and presenting data, alongside the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of autonomy.

Exceptional storyteller and presenter with knowledge of and passion for the film and media industry, and awareness of the opportunities and challenges shaping the sector.
