Cybersecurity Engineer (Azure & AI)
Position Summary
The Cybersecurity Engineer is responsible for protecting the organization's systems, data, and cloud environments through the design, implementation, and management of security solutions. This role focuses on cybersecurity operations, Azure cloud security, threat detection, incident response, and the secure adoption of AI technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain security controls across on-premises and Microsoft Azure environments.
- Monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents and threats.
- Manage identity and access security using Microsoft Entra ID, MFA, and Zero Trust principles.
- Utilize tools such as Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Sentinel to identify and mitigate risks.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and support remediation efforts.
- Support the secure deployment and governance of AI and Generative AI solutions, including Azure AI and Microsoft Copilot.
- Collaborate with technology and business teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into projects and operations.
Qualifications
- Experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, or security engineering.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure security services and cloud security best practices.
- Understanding of AI technologies and related security risks.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
