Business Applications Manager

A successful and fast-growing PE backed events business is seeking an experienced Business Applications Manager to lead the strategy, development, integration and support of its core enterprise applications landscape.
This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for a portfolio of business-critical platforms, where you'll partner closely with technology and business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions, drive continuous improvement, and shape the future applications roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the strategy, governance and lifecycle management of enterprise business applications.
- Lead the delivery of application enhancements, integrations, upgrades and transformation projects.
- Manage relationships with business stakeholders, third-party vendors and implementation partners.
- Oversee application support, service performance, releases, security and compliance.
- Lead and develop a high-performing applications team while driving best practice across development and delivery.
Technical Experience Required
- Strong experience leading enterprise applications teams within a complex business environment.
- Hands-on understanding of C#/.NET application development and software delivery practices.
- Proven experience with Salesforce, including administration, configuration and platform enhancement.
- Experience supporting and integrating Workday across HR, Finance and business processes.
- Strong knowledge of system integration architectures, APIs, middleware, data flows and application interoperability.
- Experience delivering cloud-based applications and enterprise-scale business systems.
- Familiarity with modern development methodologies, release management and application governance.
- Knowledge of Azure integration services, ETL processes, data migration and automation tools would be advantageous.
