The role
We're looking for a UI/UX Designer to turn our product into simple, easy-to-use experiences for our users. You'll gather requirements, design interface elements, and build the navigation and flows users rely on. You should be comfortable with design software and wireframing tools, and if you have a portfolio of design work across web or mobile apps, we'd like to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps
- Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs, and widgets
- Build page navigation buttons and search fields
- Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly show how screens function and look
- Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches, and tables)
- Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
- Adjust layouts based on user feedback
- Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors, and images
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or in a similar role
- A portfolio of design projects
- Experience designing responsive websites
- Knowledge of wireframing tools (e.g. Figma, InVision)
- Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Good time-management skills
- A degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
