Position Summary
The person in this role will be part of a global team responsible for the ongoing remediation of security vulnerabilities across Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Microsoft Windows servers. This position is responsible for the ongoing deployment of software patches to servers supporting all lines of business across the bank.
The resource will partner with engineering and technology teams to continually improve the velocity and success rates of patching. Key responsibilities include planning, scheduling, and monitoring patch deployment jobs, troubleshooting and resolving patching failures, and effectively communicating with internal technology partner teams regarding status and issues.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in RHEL and/or Windows Server Administration.
- Experience and knowledge of Patch Management.
- Experience with BMC TrueSight Orchestration.
- Experience with Tanium.
- Experience with ServiceNow and ITSM processes.
- Experience working in enterprise-scale environments.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in a global team.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with infrastructure automation and programming tools, such as Ansible and Python.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language, such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
- Experience in the Financial Services / Banking industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Support remediation of security vulnerabilities through timely patch deployment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve patch deployment failures.
- Utilize BMC TrueSight Orchestration, Tanium, and ServiceNow/ITSM tools.
- Partner with engineering and technology teams to improve patching velocity and success rates.
- Communicate patching status, issues, and resolutions effectively to internal technology stakeholders.
- Contribute to automation and process improvements across infrastructure and patch management activities.
