Your Impact
As an experienced Project Planner with a strong background in construction and data centre projects, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of our large-scale developments, reporting directly to the Project Lead. Working closely with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders, you will oversee planning, progress monitoring, and schedule control activities to ensure projects remain on track. Through your expertise in project controls, schedule analysis, and risk management, you will help drive informed decision-making and contribute to the successful execution of mission-critical infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
Planning, Progress Monitoring & Controls
· Review and analyse contractor baseline schedules, weekly updates, and recovery programmes, ensuring that key schedule risks, delays, milestone performance, planned versus actual progress, and recovery actions are clearly communicated to the Lead Planner and project team on a weekly basis.
· Monitor daily and weekly site progress against approved baseline schedules.
· Conduct regular site walks to independently assess construction progress and verify reported status.
· Prepare and maintain progress photo reports to support project reporting and progress validation.
· Identify schedule risks, delays, and potential impacts to key project milestones.
· Support schedule risk assessments, impact analyses, and what-if scenario evaluations.
· Participate in planning, progress, and coordination meetings with project stakeholders.
· Track critical and delayed activities and support mitigation planning.
· Support baseline schedule development, review, and change management processes.
· Provide planning and project controls support to the wider project team.
What You’ll be Accountable for
· Ensure contractor schedules and project progress are effectively monitored and reported.
· Validate on-site construction progress against approved project baselines.
· Proactively identify and escalate schedule risks, delays, and milestone impacts.
· Support planning, change control, and recovery strategies across the project lifecycle.
· Deliver reliable planning insights and reporting to enable informed project decisions.
· Maintain visibility of critical activities and supporting timely mitigation actions.
Essential Experience
· At least 5 years of planning and scheduling experience within the construction industry.
· Previous data centre project experience.
· Experience reviewing contractor schedules and analysing progress performance.
Skills & CompetenciesPlanning & Project Controls
· Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC).
· Good understanding of CPM scheduling, critical path analysis, and project controls principles.
· Strong analytical capability and the ability to identify schedule risks and impacts.
Communication & Stakeholder Management
· Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
· Ability to work closely with General Contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
Languages
· English: fluent proficiency required.
· German: advantageous.
