About The Department
The Global Social Media team drives Franklin Templeton’s social media strategy, publishing, platform operations, governance, and performance measurement. Working closely with Content, Campaigns, Compliance, Technology, Security, and Analytics teams, the function ensures content is distributed efficiently, securely, and compliantly across global channels. Team members gain exposure to leading social technologies, data-driven decision making, and emerging artificial intelligence capabilities while helping shape how the firm engages audiences worldwide.
How You Will Add Value
Publishing & Platform Operations
- Manage global social publishing operations.
- Oversee publishing platforms and vendor relationships.
- Maintain publishing calendars and delivery schedules.
- Establish governance, taxonomy, tagging, and reporting standards.
- Optimize publishing workflows across channels.
Channel Optimization & Insights
- Apply platform-specific publishing best practices.
- Optimize content performance through testing and analysis.
- Identify opportunities to increase organic engagement.
- Define social media measurement frameworks.
- Turn performance data into actionable recommendations.
- Leverage artificial intelligence and automation responsibly.
Compliance, Technology & Risk
- Manage review and compliance workflows.
- Maintain publishing controls and records.
- Partner on platform security and access governance.
- Identify and mitigate operational risks.
- Evaluate emerging platform capabilities and vendor solutions.
Social Media Champion Program
- Support employee advocacy initiatives.
- Coordinate content opportunities and communications.
- Promote social media best practices across participants.
Experience, Education & Certifications
What will help you be successful in this role
- Managing enterprise social media programs.
- Experience in financial services or regulated industries.
- Experience with publishing operations and governance.
- Developing reporting and measurement frameworks.
Technical Skills
- Expertise in social media platforms and publishing tools such as Sprout, Hearsay, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Reddit, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. ON24 and Brightcove experience a plus.
- Strong analytics and reporting capabilities.
- Knowledge of content distribution and audience engagement strategies.
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence and workflow automation.
- Understanding of security, compliance, and platform governance.
