Senior Embedded Software Engineer - Integration / RTOS / Open Source
We are partnered with a global leader in semiconductor and wireless technology innovation. The team is looking to hire a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to drive chipset software integration, debugging, and triage across cutting-edge SoC platforms.
This is a permanent, fully onsite opportunity based in Cork, Ireland.
Key responsibilities for this Senior Embedded Software Engineer position:
- Interact closely with cross-functional software teams to verify and debug software stability issues and features.
- Design and implement scalable build system software and tools to generate various image flavours.
- Collaborate with HW and Systems Engineering to ensure Core Platform software meets power and performance KPIs.
- Perform image and system-level sanity testing.
Key requirements:
- Experience in software integration, source control, and testing.
- Working knowledge of real-time operating systems.
- Strong development experience in C, C++, and assembly.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Perl.
- Experience with build systems (SCons, CMake) and source control (Git, Perforce) advantageous.
- Familiarity with JTAG debugging and Zephyr RTOS a plus.
