Data Scientist – NLP & Machine Learning

We are looking for a hands-on Data Scientist with strong experience in Machine Learning and NLP to join a team responsible for developing and deploying advanced models and AI-driven solutions across diverse business domains.
This is a highly impactful role combining Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, advanced analytics, and real-world production environments, with the opportunity to work on complex business challenges using both structured and unstructured data.
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, validate, and deploy end-to-end Machine Learning models.
- Work extensively with NLP, text data, language models, text classification, information extraction, and other text-based ML solutions.
- Analyze and process complex structured and unstructured datasets from diverse sources.
- Develop solutions using both supervised and unsupervised Machine Learning techniques.
- Perform feature engineering, model validation, performance evaluation, and optimization.
- Translate complex business challenges and requirements into robust Data Science and algorithmic solutions.
- Derive actionable insights using advanced analytics and AI technologies.
- Take ownership of Data Science initiatives from problem definition through production deployment.
- Present analytical findings, model results, and business insights to technical and business stakeholders.
- Develop and deploy models in cloud-based, production environments, including AWS.
Requirements
- 1–5+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Scientist, with strong end-to-end model development experience.
- Proven experience building and deploying Machine Learning models to production.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python.
- Strong experience with NLP and text-based Machine Learning — highly important for this role.
- Experience with classification and regression models.
- Experience with classical Machine Learning, including supervised and unsupervised learning.
- Strong experience with Feature Engineering and Model Validation.
- Experience working with large-scale and complex datasets, including tabular data.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into practical Data Science solutions.
- Strong experience with Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Hands-on experience with algorithms such as XGBoost, Random Forest, Gradient Boosting, Linear/Logistic Regression, and Clustering.
- Strong understanding of Statistics & Probability.
- Experience with Model Deployment and Production environments.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, Embeddings, and Vector Databases.
- Experience with LangChain or LlamaIndex.
- Experience developing Generative AI-based applications.
- Experience working with AWS or other cloud environments.
- Experience with PySpark and large-scale data processing.
- Experience working in large, complex organizations.
- Experience in the banking or financial services domain.
- Strong business understanding and a broad, system-oriented perspective.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or another quantitative field.
