Role Description This full-time, Interior Designer / Supply Chain Operator role is based in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. The position combines responsibilities in interior design with coordination with clients. Day-to-day tasks include developing design concepts, creating layout plans, selecting materials and finishes, and preparing design documentation for client review and implementation. supply chain activities to support project delivery. The role also involves coordinating with vendors, managing inventory, tracking orders, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and furnishings to project sites. The Interior Designer / Supply Chain Operator collaborates with project managers, installers, and clients to maintain quality standards, meet project timelines, and support cost-effective procurement. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in interior design, including space planning, material selection, and preparation of design drawings or visual presentations.
- Experience with supply chain or procurement processes, such as vendor coordination, order tracking, inventory management, and basic logistics.
- Proficiency with design and office software (e.g., CAD tools, design visualization platforms, and productivity suites like Microsoft Office or Google Workspace).
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities, with capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with clients, suppliers, and internal teams in a professional manner.
- Post-secondary education in interior design, architecture, supply chain management, or a related field, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Knowledge of industry standards, building materials, and basic construction practices; familiarity with Canadian regulations and codes is an asset.
- Previous experience in interior design, procurement, or operations within the design, construction, or technology sectors is preferred.
