Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated, tech-native Analyst / Associate to join the Digital Assets department at Core Pacific-Yamaichi. This role offers unparalleled exposure across multi-asset investment strategies, bridging traditional corporate finance with modern Web3 infrastructure.
Acting as direct support to the Head of Digital Assets, the successful candidate will assist in managing internal proprietary funds, researching traditional equities, and structuring Real World Asset (RWA) tokenization and Private Equity initiatives. To succeed in this fast-paced environment, the candidate must be a power user of Artificial Intelligence (LLMs, data parsers) to automate workflows, accelerate research, and multiply their analytical output.
Responsibilities
- Multi-Asset Investment Research: Support the proprietary trading desk by running AI-assisted quantitative and qualitative screens on traditional equities. Track macroeconomic trends and build foundational financial models for internal funds and potential external LPF strategies.
- Corporate Finance & Deal Support: Assist the team in the execution of private equity deals, financing advisory, and structured products. Draft initial term sheets, pitch decks, and operational frameworks for transitioning corporate assets into digital asset treasuries.
- AI-Driven Automation: Actively use Large Language Models (LLMs) and advanced prompting to scrape market data, summarize complex HK SFC regulatory filings, and accelerate deal sourcing, operating as a highly leveraged, tech-enabled professional.
- Project Coordination: Act as a reliable right-hand in daily operations, helping coordinate cross-functional tasks between traditional asset management frameworks and digital asset tokenization projects.
Requirements
- Experience: 1–5 years of experience in corporate finance, equity research, asset management, or Big 4 deal advisory. (Title awarded will be commensurate with experience).
- Core Skills: Strong foundational knowledge of traditional equity markets, financial modeling, and corporate finance principles. Exposure to HK LPFs or structured products is a plus.
- AI & Tech Literacy: Must demonstrate practical ability to use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, automation scripts) to drastically speed up research and document drafting. A strong interest in Web3, tokenomics, or smart contracts is required.
- Mindset: A hungry, fast learner who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and excited by the challenge of context-switching between traditional finance and digital assets.
