• Oversee tax-form corrections, pre-filing quality assurance, vendor and system output validation, IRS or state acceptance confirmation, reject resolution, root-cause analysis, and preventive process improvements.

• Lead the enterprise unclaimed property operating cycle, including data requests, NAUPA data-quality review, property analysis, due diligence, owner-contact removals, account reactivation or closure, funding, state totals, remittance, state reporting support, and final-package reconciliation.

• Manage the Sovos relationship and other tax or unclaimed property vendors; monitor schedules, data layouts, file-processing agreements, analysis results, due diligence proofs, filing deliverables, access, service issues, and escalation paths.

• Lead operational support for unclaimed property audits and regulatory examinations, including request tracking, historical filing reconstruction, data validation, evidence production, response quality review, issue remediation, and coordination with Legal, Tax, Risk, auditors, and vendors.

• Ensure first-line-of-defense controls, segregation of duties, reconciliations, approvals, access governance, records retention, procedure governance, business continuity, and audit readiness are maintained across assigned processes.

• Use operational metrics and data to monitor service levels, backlog, exceptions, first-pass quality, corrections, control completion, capacity, and risks; implement scalable workflow, reporting, automation, and process improvements without weakening required controls.
