AP/AR Clerk (Contract / Potential Contract-to-Hire) - Remote (Houston, TX-based team) - $27-$32/hour
Looking for a remote accounting opportunity where you can gain exposure across both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable? Join an established retail and e-commerce organization with a well-known heritage brand and support a collaborative accounting team while building experience across reconciliations, general accounting, and ERP systems.
Who you are:
- 2+ years of accounting experience with AP and/or AR responsibilities.
- Experience performing bank reconciliations and a solid understanding of accounting fundamentals, including debits and credits.
- Proficiency with Excel; NetSuite, Shopify, and retail/e-commerce experience are strong pluses.
What you’ll do:
- Support daily Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes while providing coverage for accounting team members as needed.
- Perform bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, journal entries, and other transactional accounting activities.
- Work within NetSuite and Shopify-related accounting processes and assist with special projects assigned by the accounting team.
