Position: Lead Developer- AI-Native Product Development
Location: Hyderabad ( 8 PM to 5 AM IST)

PETADATA is looking for a Lead Developer to lead the design, development, and delivery of AI-native, full-stack applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in software architecture, AI-assisted development, CRM/data integrations, and modern web technologies, with the ability to drive projects from concept to production.
Roles & Responsibilities
Product Development
- Design, develop, and deliver production-ready software products using modern AI-assisted development workflows.
- Take features from concept and prototype through production and continuous improvement.
- Use AI development tools to accelerate development while maintaining strong engineering standards.
- Build effective prompting and agentic workflows to improve development productivity.
Architecture & Technical Leadership
- Own high-level system architecture, data models, service boundaries, and technical decisions.
- Review, test, and improve both developer-written and AI-generated code.
- Establish coding standards, design patterns, testing practices, and engineering best practices.
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines and development guardrails.
- Make technical decisions independently and guide other developers.
- Mentor developers on software engineering fundamentals and AI-native development workflows.
Full-Stack Development & Integrations
- Work across the frontend, backend, APIs, data processing, and integrations.
- Develop applications using React, Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript, and Python.
- Build and maintain REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Develop integrations with CRM and data platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, and Zoho.
- Implement APIs, authentication, data mapping, and transformation logic.
- Collaborate with product, implementation, and customer-facing teams to translate requirements into production-ready solutions.
Technical Quality & Delivery
- Ensure applications are scalable, maintainable, secure, and production-ready.
- Establish appropriate testing and quality standards to support rapid development.
- Continuously evaluate and adopt emerging AI development tools and technologies.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver features based on customer and business requirements.
Note: Should be able to work independently and work in USA time zones
Required Skills
- Strong experience in full-stack software development and modern application architecture.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, and/or Python.
- Strong understanding of REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Experience with system design, data modeling, service architecture, and software engineering best practices.
- Experience developing and maintaining CRM and data platform integrations, particularly Salesforce, HubSpot, and Zoho.
- Strong knowledge of APIs, authentication, data mapping, and data transformation.
- Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD, and Docker.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience with modern AI-assisted development and agentic coding workflows.
- Hands-on familiarity with AI development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code (CLI), Replit, and GitHub Copilot.
- Ability to effectively review, validate, and improve AI-generated code.
- Strong understanding of software testing, code quality, scalability, and production reliability.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, ownership, and technical leadership skills.
Education
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
