We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in API automation, proficiency in Java/Selenium, and hands-on experience with DevOps practices and AWS cloud services. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for API testing using Java and Selenium.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and define testing strategies for new features and enhancements.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline the deployment process and ensure quality assurance at every stage of development.
- Utilize AWS services for testing environments, including setting up and managing test infrastructure.
- Conduct thorough analysis of testing results and provide actionable insights to improve product quality.
- Mentor and guide junior quality engineers in best practices for automated testing and quality assurance.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on automation testing.
- Proficient in Java programming and automation tools, specifically Selenium.
- Solid understanding of API testing methodologies and tools.
- Experience with DevOps principles and practices, including CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud-based testing environments.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum work environment.
- Expert level understanding of software testing types, techniques, tools, processes, and methodologies. Good experience in using Bug Tracking system like JIRA or QC.
- Good understanding of Project Life Cycle and Test Life Cycle.
