Snowflake Data Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Data Engineer, This role requires strong expertise in Snowflake, SQL, data modeling, ETL development using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), Python scripting, GitHub source control, and enterprise scheduling/orchestration tools such as Control-M and Redwood. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to building secure, high-performance, and scalable data pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
Snowflake Data Modeling & Architecture
- Design and implement scalable, high-performance data models in Snowflake.
- Develop logical and physical data models aligned with business and compliance requirements.
- Optimize schema design, partitioning strategies, and storage structures for improved performance and scalability.
- Support enterprise data warehouse initiatives and data integration programs.
ETL/ELT Development
- Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
- Extract, transform, and load data from multiple source systems into Snowflake.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, accuracy, and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
- Implement error handling, monitoring, and recovery mechanisms for ETL jobs.
Snowflake Platform Implementation
- Configure and optimize Snowflake features including:
- Clustering Keys
- Materialized Views
- Data Sharing
- Zero-Copy Cloning
- Time Travel & Data Retention
- Resource Monitors
- Auto Scaling & Auto Suspension
- Monitor platform usage and cost efficiency.
- Implement performance optimization techniques across warehouse workloads.
Snowflake
- Advanced hands-on experience with Snowflake.
- Strong knowledge of:

Required Qualifications
- Proven years of overall IT experience.
- Proven experience as a Snowflake Data Engineer.
- Strong understanding of data engineering and cloud data warehouse architectures.
- Demonstrated expertise in SQL, data modeling, and ETL development.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
