One of the companies we partner with at Joppy is looking to hire an AI Engineer passionate about designing, building, and deploying intelligent automation systems to solve complex real-world challenges.
🎯 Responsibilities
- Architect and deliver AI solutions, balancing latency, cost, and accuracy
- Focus on efficiency, continuously seeking optimization opportunities in code and systems
- Own AI observability end-to-end: monitor traces, design evaluation frameworks, and rapidly improve deployed models
- Develop backend and frontend code to integrate AI capabilities into products
- Lead your own project management and roll out initiatives to customers
- Engage with customers to validate new solutions and gather feedback
🛠️ Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on experience building production-ready AI systems
- Strong understanding of emerging AI models, research, and real-world usage
- Experience with modern AI-powered development tools (such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or similar)
- Demonstrated ability to design, debug, and improve end-to-end systems with a product-focused mindset
- Fluent in Spanish and comfortable working in English
➕ Nice to have
- Experience with AI observability platforms (e.g., langfuse: tracing, metrics, evaluations for LLM applications/agents)
- Expertise in designing and running evaluations
- Familiarity with multimodal LLMs, especially vision models for OCR document understanding
- Experience building and orchestrating multi-agent systems
- Knowledge of RAG systems and vector databases
- Experience designing or working with MCPs
