Hirely is recruiting QA and Test Automation Engineers on behalf of a hiring partner. You'll review browser-based test workflows for AI-generated web applications and validate whether they're technically sound, deterministic, and reliable enough to become part of benchmark datasets.
Open to candidates in multiple countries. The listing shows India; eligibility for other locations is confirmed during the application process.
What You'll Do
- Review browser-based testing workflows for AI-generated web applications
- Assess whether browser interactions are technically feasible and reliable
- Validate test isolation, fixtures, setup, and execution flow
- Ensure assertions produce deterministic, unambiguous pass/fail results
- Identify flaky tests, hidden dependencies, and ambiguous validation logic
- Provide structured technical feedback against project review rubrics
Who We're Looking For
- 3+ years in Software Engineering, QA Engineering, SDET, or Test Automation
- Strong experience testing modern web applications
- Hands-on with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar browser automation frameworks
- Experience writing automated UI and end-to-end tests
- Solid understanding of test isolation, fixtures, reproducibility, and reliable browser automation
- Strong debugging skills and attention to detail
Compensation & Terms
- $30-60/hour, independent contractor
- Fully remote, flexible schedule
- Weekly payments via Stripe or Wise
- Projects may be extended, shortened, or ended early based on need and performance
- No prior AI experience required
