Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Purchase Manager role based in the Pune District. The Purchase Manager will oversee end-to-end procurement activities, including vendor identification, evaluation, negotiation, and selection for HVAC, cleanroom, and related project materials. The role involves preparing purchase orders, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and coordinating with project, engineering, and finance teams to ensure timely, cost-effective material availability. The Purchase Manager will monitor supplier performance, enforce quality standards, and maintain accurate records of contracts, deliveries, and pricing. The role also includes market research for new suppliers and materials, cost analysis, adherence to company procurement policies, and support in continuous improvement of sourcing processes.
Qualifications
- Strong procurement and sourcing skills, including vendor management, negotiation, purchase planning, and contract handling.
- Ability to manage inventory, track material requirements, and coordinate with cross-functional teams (projects, engineering, and finance).
- Knowledge of HVAC, cleanroom, or construction-related materials and services, with an understanding of technical specifications and quality standards.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP or procurement software for documentation, reporting, and data analysis.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on cost optimization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field; relevant experience in industrial or project-based purchasing is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Pune District, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
