Fiber Technician - Rotational Travel (3 weeks on/1 weekoff)

Pay rate: $35-$45
3 month contract (high possibility of extension through 2027)
Required Skills & Experience
*2–3+ years of experience in fiber optic, telecom, network infrastructure,
*Hands-on experience with fiber optic cable installation, routing, termination, and fusion splicing *Experience performing fiber testing and troubleshooting using tools such as OTDRs, light source/power meters, VFLs, and fiber certification equipment
*Strong understanding of fiber optic network standards, cable management, pathway installation, and industry best practices
*Ability to read and interpret splice diagrams, fiber schematics, test results, and technical documentation
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
*Associate's degree or equivalent technical/military experience
*Experience with single-mode and multimode fiber, MPO/MTP connectivity, and fiber distribution systems
*Familiarity with both inside plant (ISP) and outside plant (OSP) fiber environments
*Experience with structured cabling installations, including copper and fiber infrastructure
*OSHA, CFOT, BICSI, FOA, NFPA 70E, or other relevant safety/industry certifications
