About the Role
We are working with an innovative technology company that are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who serves as both a technical authority and a hands-on developer. In this role, you’ll be the critical connection between client strategy and technical execution, partnering closely with clients and delivery teams to turn business objectives into high-quality, scalable, and sustainable technology solutions.
You’ll bring deep experience architecting and building production-grade applications, working across modern cloud environments, and solving complex technical challenges. Just as importantly, you’ll bring a strong curiosity about generative AI and how AI can transform the software development lifecycle.
This is a role for someone who enjoys moving seamlessly between deep-focus engineering, technical architecture, problem-solving, and high-level client collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Partner with clients to understand business objectives, technical requirements, and opportunities for innovation.
- Translate client strategy and business needs into pragmatic technical solutions and architectures.
- Architect, develop, deploy, and maintain production-grade full stack applications.
- Serve as a technical leader and trusted advisor to both clients and internal delivery teams.
- Bridge the gap between strategy and implementation, ensuring solutions are technically sound, scalable, secure, and maintainable.
- Lead technical discovery, architecture discussions, and solution design.
- Work hands-on across the full software development lifecycle, from concept and prototyping through production deployment.
- Leverage cloud-native technologies and modern engineering practices to deliver enterprise-scale solutions.
- Explore and apply AI and generative AI technologies to improve products, workflows, and the software development lifecycle.
- Use AI coding agents and AI-driven development practices to accelerate delivery while maintaining engineering quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor other developers, and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of software engineering experience building and deploying production applications in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proven experience architecting and delivering enterprise-scale, full stack solutions.
- Hands-on experience with AI models and AI-powered applications, beyond AI coding tools.
- Proficiency with Python, TypeScript, BigQuery, and Vertex AI.
- Strong experience with AI-driven development and AI coding agents.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and modern cloud architectures.
- Strong understanding of scalable, secure, reliable software engineering practices.
- Strong communication and client-facing consulting skills.
- Ability to translate business needs into practical technical solutions.
- Comfortable balancing strategic leadership with hands-on development.
- Strong problem-solving skills and technical judgment.
- Ability to lead and influence teams without formal authority.
- Passion for generative AI and emerging technologies and their impact on software development.
