We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in manual testing methodologies, a passion for quality assurance, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams in an agile environment. Experience in test automation will be considered a significant advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business and functional requirements and prepare comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, System, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Execute test cases, identify defects, and ensure timely resolution through defect tracking tools.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure product quality.
- Verify bug fixes and conduct re-testing activities.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide quality-focused feedback.
- Prepare test reports and communicate testing progress and quality metrics.
- Support release validation and production verification activities.
- Continuously improve QA processes, standards, and best practices.
Requirements
- 3-6 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
- Strong hands-on experience in Manual Testing.
- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
- Expertise in: Functional Testing Regression Testing Integration Testing System Testing UAT Testing
- Experience in Test Case Design, Test Execution, and Defect Management.
- Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL for database validation.
- Experience in API Testing using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Good to Have
- Experience with Automation Testing tools such as:
- Selenium
- Cypress
- Playwright
- TestNG / JUnit
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and test automation frameworks.
- Exposure to performance or security testing.
