About Empiriq
Empiriq helps ambitious entrepreneurs and small to medium-sized businesses in Europe simplify, automate, and grow using AI-powered solutions. We map how a business actually runs, then build the systems that make it run better: CRM and ERP implementations, integrations between tools, client portals, and automated workflows that remove manual, repetitive work. We are small and close to our clients, which means what you build goes live within weeks, not quarters.
The role
We are looking for a junior developer we can train properly, not a senior squeezed into a junior budget. You will start by supporting our consultants on live client work and grow into owning deliverables yourself.
Most of our delivery runs on the Zoho stack (Zoho CRM, Creator, Flow, and Deluge scripting) and on Uniconta, a Danish ERP. You do not need to know either one. We will teach you, including a training programme delivered by the Uniconta team.
What you will do
- Build and adjust front-end interfaces for CRM and ERP workflows using CSS and a modern JavaScript framework such as React or Vue
- Write back-end logic and integrations, working with REST APIs and SQL or NoSQL databases
- Configure data models, workflows, and automations inside Zoho and Uniconta
- Troubleshoot issues in existing codebases and improve what is already running
- Test your work, document it, and support deployment
- Join client sessions to learn how a business requirement becomes a technical solution
As you grow, you take on client deliverables end to end, with a senior reviewing your work rather than doing it for you.
Requirements
- Full-stack development ability: you can build a working web application on your own, front end and back end. A personal project, freelance work, or a bootcamp portfolio counts as much as a job
- Front-end development skills, including HTML, CSS, responsive design, and at least one modern framework (React, Vue, Angular, or similar)
- Back-end web development skills: a server-side language, REST APIs, and SQL or NoSQL databases
- Version control with Git, and willingness to learn our standards for testing and documentation
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Clear written and spoken English. Our clients are in the Netherlands and across Europe, and you will talk to them directly
- You ask questions early instead of getting stuck quietly
- Relevant coursework, a degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. Self-taught is equally welcome if you can show what you built
Nice to have, not required
- Exposure to any CRM or ERP platform (Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot, Odoo, SAP, Uniconta) or ERP implementation work
- Scripting experience in any language, which is most of what Deluge is
- Any low-code or business automation platform (Zoho Creator, Make, n8n, Power Automate, Airtable)

Engagement
- PJ contract, invoiced via CNPJ, fully remote
- Start at 24 to 32 hours per week, with room to grow to full-time depending on availability and fit
- Hourly rate based on experience
