I’m currently hiring for an AI & Data company in Japan that works with major enterprises to transform core industries through AI.
The company works across logistics, healthcare, energy, and manufacturing, taking projects from early experimentation through production and, in some cases, turning successful solutions into scalable products.
This role sits at the intersection of AI Agents, Data Engineering, and MLOps. You will build the data foundations that make enterprise AI systems actually work, while also contributing directly to AI Agent development.
What you’ll work on:
- Design and develop AI Agent solutions
- Build data pipelines and modern data platforms
- Work with BigQuery, Databricks, Snowflake, and Microsoft Fabric
- Build MLOps and CI/CD environments
- Take projects from PoC through production and continuous improvement
- Work closely with Data Scientists, Engineers, and Consultants
What they are looking for:
- Strong Python and SQL experience
- Experience building cloud-based data platforms / DWH
- Solid software engineering fundamentals
- Data pipeline or MLOps experience is a plus
- AI Agent experience is a plus, but NOT required
- Ability to work with business and Data Science teams in Japanese
