Position Overview
We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our team and help us turn complex data into actionable business insights. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of statistical modeling and machine learning, coupled with hands-on experience in the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem. You will be responsible for building end-to-end ML pipelines—from data ingestion in Big Query to model deployment and monitoring via Vertex AI.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Exploration & Strategy: Mine and analyze data from company databases (BigQuery) to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques, and business strategies.
- Model Development: Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets (supervised/unsupervised learning, NLP, computer vision, etc.).
- GCP Implementation: Utilize Vertex AI for training and deploying models at scale. Leverage Dataflow or Dataproc for large-scale data processing.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes. Work closely with Data Engineers to ensure data quality and pipeline efficiency.
- A/B Testing: Design and execute A/B testing frameworks to evaluate model performance and product changes.
- Visualization: Build automated dashboards and reports using Looker or Looker Studio to communicate findings to stakeholders
Required Technical Skills
- Programming: Mastery of Python (Scikit-Learn, Pandas, NumPy) and/or R.
- SQL Mastery: Advanced SQL skills, specifically optimized for BigQuery (using standard SQL and ML functions).
GCP Ecosystem:
Vertex AI (AutoML, Training, Pipelines, and Model Registry).
BigQuery ML for quick-to-market predictive modeling.
Cloud Storage and Cloud Functions for event-driven data tasks.
MLOps: Familiarity with CI/CD for machine learning (Kubeflow or Vertex AI Pipelines).
Deep Learning: Experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch (bonus if you've used Google’s TPU infrastructure).
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
Experience: 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist
Shift Timings: 4PM - 1AM
Location: Bengaluru/Hyderabad/Gurgaon/Pune - Hybrid
Certification (Preferred): Google Professional Data Engineer or Professional Machine Learning Engineer certification.
