Apple’s Applied Machine Learning team within the AI and Data Platform organization builds and operates machine learning, generative AI, inference, and data platforms and services for Apple’s enterprise ecosystem. The Software Engineer will build and operate resilient, highly performant distributed systems across hybrid cloud environments, working on projects involving GenAI, ML, inference, and big data platforms.
Responsibilities
- Build, enhance, and maintain multi-tenant systems employing diverse technologies
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to deliver impactful customer features
- Lead projects through full lifecycle, from design discussions to release delivery
- Operate, scale, and optimize high-throughput and highly concurrent services
- Diagnose, resolve, and prevent production and operational challenges
