We’re working with a confidential, high-growth D2C/e-commerce business looking for a commercially minded, hands-on Property Acquisition & Management Specialist to manage residential property projects across the Netherlands.
About the Role
This is a unique role combining Dutch residential real estate, commercial negotiations, project management, partnerships and marketing. You’ll identify and secure suitable properties, manage the acquisition process, coordinate preparation and ensure each property is ready to support wider commercial and marketing activity. You’ll also develop partnerships with home, lifestyle and retail brands, creating opportunities around furnishing, styling, products, services, content and co-marketing.
Responsibilities
- Property Acquisition
- Source and evaluate attractive residential properties across the Netherlands.
- Build and maintain a strong property pipeline.
- Develop relationships with agents, developers and property owners.
- Lead negotiations and coordinate due diligence, valuations, legal requirements and contracts.
- Manage acquisition timelines and budgets.

- Property Preparation
- Coordinate furnishing, styling, landscaping, maintenance, cleaning and general property readiness.
- Identify opportunities for cosmetic improvements or light renovation.
- Manage external contractors, suppliers and vendors.
- Ensure properties are optimised for photography, video and marketing activity.

- Partnerships
- Identify and develop partnerships with Dutch home, lifestyle and retail brands.
- Build relationships across furniture, interiors, kitchens, bathrooms, appliances, outdoor living and lifestyle.
- Develop and negotiate partnership propositions, including product contributions, preferential pricing, styling, co-marketing and content.
- Manage partner relationships and maximise their commercial and marketing value.

- Project Management
- Own property projects from acquisition through to launch readiness.
- Coordinate multiple suppliers, stakeholders and workstreams.
- Manage timelines, budgets and dependencies.
- Identify risks and find practical solutions quickly.

- Marketing & Content
- Work closely with Marketing, Content and Creative teams to maximise each property's appeal.
- Provide property insights to support campaigns, PR and social content.
- Coordinate access for photographers, videographers, creators and partners.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of the Dutch residential real estate market, including valuation, negotiation and acquisition.
- Proven experience in property acquisition, real estate operations, property management or a related field.
- Experience managing commercial relationships with partners, suppliers or brands.
- Strong project and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent organisational and negotiation skills.
- Strong commercial mindset with an understanding of budgets and financial value.
- Native-level Dutch and fluent English.
- Valid driving licence and willingness to travel across the Netherlands.

- Experience with renovation, property staging or home styling.
- Experience working with photographers, videographers or creative production teams.

You’re comfortable managing multiple projects, negotiating with different stakeholders and finding solutions when there isn’t an obvious playbook. You understand both the commercial and customer perspective, balancing property value, budgets and operational requirements with the need to create an engaging customer experience.
