About The Role
We are seeking a Lead .NET Developer to design, develop, and modernize scalable backend systems while guiding technical delivery across projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex business and technical challenges, working with modern cloud-native technologies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using .NET Core / .NET 6+. Build and enhance distributed, event-driven architectures using Dapr for service communication, state management, and messaging.
- Develop and support integrations using messaging platforms such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Azure Service Bus.
- Design, optimize, and maintain MySQL databases, including schema development, stored procedures, and query performance tuning.
- Assess, refactor, and modernize legacy applications and services while ensuring business continuity.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Participate in architecture reviews, technical planning, and code quality initiatives.
- Promote software quality, security, observability, and DevOps best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
- Support and mentor team members through collaboration, knowledge sharing, and technical guidance.
Requirements
- Significant professional experience developing backend applications with .NET Core / .NET 6+.
- Experience building and supporting microservices-based solutions, ideally using Dapr.
- Strong knowledge of messaging and event-driven systems using technologies such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Azure Service Bus.
- Hands-on experience with MySQL, including database design, query optimization, and stored procedures.
- Experience maintaining, integrating, or modernizing legacy .NET applications.
- Ability to lead technical initiatives from requirements gathering through deployment and ongoing support.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized applications.
- Understanding of software design patterns, CQRS, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and event-driven architectures. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and using tools such as Git, Jira, and CI/CD pipelines.
