The Studio by Nandita Manwani (https://thestudiobangalore.com/) is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Senior Interior Designer to join our boutique team in Bangalore. In this role, you will lead high-end residential interior projects from concept to final styling, working closely with our founder, Nandita Manwani.

* Experience Required: Minimum 4 years in premium residential interior design

Key Responsibilities
1. Concept Development & Visual Storytelling
* Curate unique design concepts, color palettes, and comprehensive mood boards for luxury homes.
* Define the design language, theme, and artistic direction for high-end residential spaces.
* Bring concepts to life using renders, mood boards, and physical material palettes.
2. Material Curation & Soft Furnishings
* Source and select premium materials, wall coverings, stones, veneers, and paint finishes.
* Curate soft furnishings, including bespoke upholstery, drapes, rugs, and decorative linens.
* Choose accent lighting, decorative fixtures, and task lighting that enhance the mood.
3. Bespoke Furniture & Detailed Styling
* Design custom, high-end loose furniture, headboards, accent seating, and vanity units.
* Detail the aesthetics, finishes, fabrics, and hardware for all customized woodwork.
* Lead final on-site styling, accessorizing, and staging for the final client handover.
4. Client Presentation & Vendor Sourcing
* Present visual concepts directly to clients, guiding them through material and fabric selections.
* Collaborate with premium decor vendors, art galleries, and furniture workshops.
* Supervise on-site execution to ensure the visual design intent matches the final outcome.

Candidate Requirements / Education & Credentials
* Eligible Degrees: B.Des, M.Des, B.Sc. in Interior Design, or qualified Architects (B.Arch / M.Arch) with a strong passion for interior styling.
Professional Experience
* Minimum 4+ years of core experience in premium residential aesthetic design.
* Sharp eye for contemporary trends, textures, color theory, and material mixing.
* Strong knowledge of local Bangalore premium vendor markets for decor and fabrics.
Location Constraint
* Strictly Local Bangalore Candidates Only. Must reside in Bangalore and be ready to travel for material sourcing, showroom visits, and site styling.
