We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing full-stack applications, with a strong focus on supporting and modernizing legacy systems. This role requires expertise across frontend and backend technologies, a commitment to security and quality standards, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The candidate should also be comfortable leveraging AI-assisted development tools while maintaining strong engineering ownership and best practices.
Total experience : 5 to 8 years
Experience and Qualification :
Full Stack Development: Design, develop, and maintain both frontend and backend components of web applications, ensuring seamless integration and functionality across the entire stack. • Frontend Development: Update and maintain user interfaces for legacy applications using relevant front-end technologies (e.g., older versions of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or proprietary frameworks).
• Backend Development: Manage server-side logic, databases, and integrations, often involving older technologies like Java with Dot NET and SQL databases
• Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices and compliance based on Singtel Cybersecurity standards.
• Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to proactively identify and address performance issues, errors, and security threats.
• Documentation and Collaboration: Document technical designs, implementation details, and operational procedures, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and knowledge sharing.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Ensure that all changes are thoroughly tested before deployment to prevent disruptions in business operations.
• Modernization Efforts: Participate in discussions and planning for potential system modernization or migration, balancing the need to maintain legacy support with future development goals.
