Marketing Executive (Activation)
Role Description
This role drives retail footfall and revenue growth through the execution of new store openings, M&A events, member days, and offline brand campaigns. The incumbent acts as Project Lead for assigned activations, conducts in-depth post-event analysis with professional slide presentations, coordinates POSM delivery, and works closely with team members to maximize event ROI. Reports to the Marketing Assistant Manager, with requirement for flexibility on weekends and frequent outstation travel based on event needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead New Store & M&A opening campaigns as Project Lead, coordinating with teammates to achieve initial footfall and sales targets during grand opening
- Execute sales-driven retail events such as Member Days and offline brand campaigns, managing budget planning, supplier sourcing, and on-ground logistics
- Analyze and present event post-mortems — consolidate sales and traffic data, extract insights, and present findings via professional PowerPoint slides
- Collaborate with internal designers and the warehouse team to plan, localize, and distribute POSM in three languages across all relevant branches
- Support other team members on their assigned projects to ensure overall departmental success (5%)

Requirements
- Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
- Trilingual proficiency (read, listen, write) in English, Malay, and Mandarin to accurately localize POSM content
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
- Comfortable using AI conversational tools for copywriting and ideation
- Strong teamwork spirit — able to act as both Project Lead and supporting team member
- Willingness to travel outstation frequently based on event needs

- Familiarity with workflow automation tools (e.g., n8n, Power Automate)
