Role Description The Sales Director is a full-time, on-site role based in San Diego, CA, responsible for leading all sales and occupancy efforts for Lantern Crest Senior Living. This position oversees the full sales cycle, including lead generation, prospect follow-up, tours, presentations, and closing agreements with prospective residents and their families. The Sales Director develops and executes sales and marketing strategies, maintains accurate sales reports and forecasts, and collaborates with leadership to meet occupancy and revenue targets. Daily responsibilities include coaching and supporting the sales team, ensuring timely and professional customer service, and partnering with operations to create a cohesive resident experience. The role also involves building community partnerships, representing Lantern Crest at events, and continuously refining processes to improve conversion rates and resident satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated strength in Sales and Business Development, including lead generation, relationship building, and closing.
- Experience in Sales Operations, such as pipeline management, forecasting, and use of CRM or related tools.
- Strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to support residents, families, and referral partners with empathy and professionalism.
- Proven Team Management capabilities, including coaching, performance oversight, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Previous experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or related service industries is highly beneficial.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work on-site in San Diego, CA, with flexibility for occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
