Role Description This is a full-time Electrician Carpentry hybrid role based in Dubai, with some flexibility for work-from-home tasks such as planning, documentation, and coordination. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing carpentry work such as framing, installation, and finishing, as well as supporting electrical technicians with fixtures, fittings, and related structural preparations. The role involves safe and efficient use of hand tools and power tools, reading and following technical drawings and work orders, and ensuring all work meets quality, safety, and local regulatory standards. The Electrician Carpentry professional will collaborate with project managers and other technicians, report progress, and maintain organized work areas and materials. Occasional on-site visits to residential, commercial, and industrial locations will be required to complete installation, repair, and renovation tasks.
Qualifications
- Strong Carpentry and Finish Carpentry skills for installation, repair, and detailed finishing work.
- Proficiency with Hand Tools and Power Tools, with a focus on safe and efficient operation.
- Experience in Framing and structural carpentry, including working from blueprints or technical drawings.
- Knowledge of basic electrical components, fixtures, and coordination with electrical technicians is an advantage.
- Understanding of safety standards and regulations relevant to construction and technical services.
- Ability to work on-site in Dubai and perform some tasks remotely, with reliable time management and self-organization.
- Previous experience in residential, commercial, or industrial maintenance or renovation projects preferred.
- Relevant vocational training, certification, or diploma in carpentry, electrical, or building trades is beneficial.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a diverse technical team.
