Standard Job Description
As the Engineering Process Group (EPG) Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team in defining and controlling engineering processes, adherence, effectiveness and incorporating improvements. The EPG provides process awareness and engagement, enabling a proactive, disciplined engineering approach in support of program performance and Mission Success. This role will need to embrace and utilize AI methodologies and agents to help streamline process execution and provide real-time guidance to engineers on program to support our accelerated timelines.
Basic Qualifications
- On program work experience at Lockheed Martin
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and tools (e.g., AI agents)
- Familiarity with Lockheed Martin Command Media
Desired Skills
- Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years experience as a technical lead (or similar technical leadership experience).
- Engineering management or Engineering team lead experience including task planning, budget management, and/or employee development and mentoring.
- Process Improvement and Affordability experience.
- Full Lifecycle Development Experience.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical systems/programs.
- Self-Starter Personality; Ability to multitask.
- Strong business acumen, management influence and whole systems thinking.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical review efforts associated with product development process.
- Experience applying AI to automate or augment engineering workflows (e.g., predictive analytics for process compliance, chat‑bot guidance).
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, mission‑critical environment and meet accelerated program timelines.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; data‑driven decision making.Familiarity with the MFC PDP.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $148300.00 - $275500.00

- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
