Private markets firms manage trillions of dollars in capital, yet many still rely on fragmented systems, manual processes and outdated tools to operate increasingly complex funds. The company is solving this by building an AI-powered operating system that helps fund managers automate critical workflows, analyse complex data and make more informed decisions. Its technology combines robust financial infrastructure with intelligent automation, enabling customers to manage their funds more efficiently while maintaining accuracy, control and transparency.
The Role
As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will work directly with strategic customers to design, build and deploy technical solutions across AI, automation, analytics and platform integrations.
This is a hands-on engineering role with significant customer exposure. You will own projects from technical discovery through production deployment, while helping turn bespoke customer solutions into reusable platform capabilities.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with private markets customers to understand complex technical and operational challenges
- Translate ambiguous requirements into clear technical plans and scalable system architectures
- Build production-grade applications, integrations and AI-enabled workflows
- Own deployments from discovery and scoping through implementation and adoption
- Work closely with internal engineering and product teams to solve customer problems
- Identify opportunities to turn bespoke solutions into reusable product capabilities
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of software engineering, forward deployed engineering or technical consulting experience
- Strong programming skills across Python, Java, TypeScript or similar technologies
- Experience building production software, APIs, data integrations and cloud-based systems
- Strong architectural judgement and confidence working through ambiguous problems
- Experience owning complex customer projects from discovery through delivery
- Excellent communication skills with technical teams and senior stakeholders
Nice to Have
- Experience within private markets, fintech or enterprise financial software
- Hands-on experience deploying AI or agentic systems into production
- Strong SQL, data modelling and analytical application experience
- Experience with forecasting, automation, optimization or decision-support systems
- Experience turning customer-specific solutions into scalable product capabilities
