Job Description
We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join an Agile team and work closely with Development Leads, Product Owners, and client stakeholders. The candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing robust test automation solutions, ensuring high-quality software delivery through comprehensive UI, API, database, and end-to-end testing.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites with a strong emphasis on UI automation using Selenium and/or Playwright, and BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
Build and execute automation scripts across web UI, APIs, and backend systems; ensure tests are reliable, maintainable, and scalable.
Define test strategies by analyzing business and technical requirements and converting them into test scenarios, test data requirements, and contingency plans.
Own end-to-end test planning and execution, including test case execution plans, defect management, reporting, status tracking, and release sign-offs.
Validate REST APIs through functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Perform database testing, including SQL validation, data reconciliation, and stored procedure verification.
Validate batch jobs and end-to-end workflows, including scheduling, file/data transfers, and downstream system impacts.
Participate actively in Agile Scrum ceremonies and serve as the team's quality advocate.
Identify and report defects early in the development lifecycle.
Utilize and contribute to SDLC and DevOps tools such as Jira, Git, Jenkins, and Bitbucket Pipelines.

Excellent stakeholder communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams to achieve common project goals.
Preferred Candidate Profile
8–10 years of QA Automation experience.
Strong hands-on experience with modern test automation frameworks.
Experience working in Agile environments.
Ability to independently drive automation initiatives and quality assurance efforts.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
