Role Description The Process Integration Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Austin, TX. This role is responsible for integrating and optimizing semiconductor process modules to meet device performance, yield, and reliability targets. Daily activities include collaborating with process, device, and manufacturing engineers to define integration schemes, analyzing experimental data, and troubleshooting process-related issues. The engineer will perform root cause analysis on failures, propose corrective actions, and support technology development and ramp to high-volume manufacturing. The role also involves documenting findings, presenting technical updates, and working cross-functionally to ensure stable and efficient production.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Process Integration and Semiconductor Fabrication for advanced technology nodes.
- Solid foundation in Physics and device behavior relevant to semiconductor manufacturing.
- Experience in Research and Development (R&D), including experimental design and data analysis.
- Proficiency in Failure Analysis, root cause investigation, and implementation of corrective actions.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- Ability to work on-site in a cleanroom environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail.
- Prior experience in semiconductor industry or process engineering is preferred.
