Job Description
"Skills and Responsibilities:
Database and ETL Development
• Analyze business requirements and convert them into technical specifications, data mappings, ETL rules, and implementation tasks.
• Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server database objects including tables, stored procedures, functions, views, indexes, and scripts.
• Develop, enhance, and troubleshoot SSIS packages for data extraction, transformation, loading, validation, and reconciliation.
• Analyze legacy DTS packages and support migration or remediation into modern SSIS-based workflows.
• Optimize SQL queries, troubleshoot performance issues, and support database upgrade or compatibility validation activities.File Processing and Integration
• Build and support file processing workflows involving inbound files, outbound files, parsing logic, transformation rules, and validation checks.
• Work with CSV, XML, delimited, fixed-width, report files, PDF/AFP-related outputs, marker files, control files, and other enterprise file formats.
• Perform end-to-end execution checks, output validation, reconciliation, and issue analysis across data and file-processing stages.
• Coordinate with upstream and downstream teams to resolve file transmission, integration, data quality, and environment-related issues.Testing, Release, and Support
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, regression support, baseline comparison, and defect remediation.
• Support QA, client acceptance testing, production deployment, and post-deployment warranty support activities.
• Prepare technical documentation, build guides, configuration notes, release notes, and handover documentation.
• Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, recommend fixes, and document corrective actions.Offshore Coordination and Delivery Support
• Coordinate daily with offshore development and QA teams to assign tasks, clarify requirements, track progress, and resolve blockers.
• Review offshore deliverables for quality, completeness, standards alignment, and deployment readiness."
