The Digital Platforms Service Management & Transformation Manager is responsible for ensuring the stability, availability, and operational readiness of application environments supporting key digital platforms. This role support end‑to‑end governance over production incident, change, and release activities, while proactively mitigating operational and regulatory risks. Effective coverage of this function is critical to minimising service disruptions, avoiding release delays, and maintaining confidence in the organisation’s digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of application platforms.
- Lead response for incidents, ensuring timely resolution and stakeholder communication.
- Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and follow-through on corrective actions and ensure incident learnings and operational knowledge are captured and shared.
- Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and health-check mechanisms.
- Coordinate application releases across infrastructure, application, security and business teams with minimal downtime.
- Investigate complex production issues requiring deep business and functional understanding.
- Perform impact assessment across application platforms, products and services.
- Identify improvement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and resilience.
- Ensure solutions and services in all environments comply with security, data protection, and regulatory policies.
- Support risk assessments, internal and external regulatory / compliance / audits.
- Embrace digital innovation and are passionate about creating seamless customer experiences across platforms.
- Think strategically and can translate business objectives into actionable digital solutions.

- Have knowledge on:
- Mobile technology, IoT, app ecosystem and APIs (preferably)
- Great Eastern's insurance processes, procedures, and policies
- Fundamentals of Business Analysis
